When it comes to cooking oils, there are countless options available on the market. From olive oil to coconut oil, it can be overwhelming to decide which one is the best fit for your needs.

​​​​​​​Cold Pressed Rapeseed Oil is a tasty, versatile, healthy and British alternative to olive oil.  Rich in Omega 3, 6 and 9, it contains the least saturated fat of all oils  (less than half that of olive oil!).  It has less monounsaturated fat than olive oil, but a bigger proportion of polyunsaturated fat, which helps to lower LDL cholesterol.  Plus, Rapeseed Oil contains considerably more vitamin E than olive oil – a tablespoon provides a fifth of our daily need for this powerful antioxidant.

A high burn point (220ºC) makes it a fantastic choice for roasting and frying as it allows it to retain its nutrition credentials, and its delicious nutty taste and beautiful golden colour make it ideal for drizzles, dressings, sauces and marinades.
 

And Cold Pressed? Means no chemicals have been used to extract the oil so that it retains its goodness just squeezed straight from the seed.

Then to add more flavour and variety with British Hedgerow fruit vinegars.  Spirit or White vinegar with added British sugar to fix the seasonal fruit flavours.  The result is fruit vinegards that are full of fruity flavour, and a relatively mild vinegar tang.
